Some lawyers might advise
that illegal immigrants
haven’t lawfully entered the country
that they have no legal rights here
and can be mistreated or deported.
When thinking about unborn babies
some people might be inclined to say
that they haven’t entered the country yet
so they have no rights
and can be removed or aborted.
Those who propose these exclusions
are not accepting reality.
We cannot kill illegal immigrants
just because they are not legal residents.
For similar and ethical reasons
we also should not kill unborn babies.
