BEYOND SEPARATISM, NARCISSISM, RACISM, WAR and HATRED
This forum is for discussion leading to an understanding of why there is so much hatred in the world today and what can be done to bring our hearts back together in Agape Love.
Let us do this in honor of Martin Luther King who said it is time for a Revolution in Belief and Hope.

PRO MULTIS - conversion of
PRO MULTIS - conversion of ALL
Agape Love, like Sabbath peace is part of an amazing process of conversion whose character is constancy and incompletion. Pinched from another post, I would put it this way today, Agape Love-as-Conversion should be the main question for religious leaders in our suffering world today. This is not a question of scriptural translation, liturgical conduct, ecclesial authority, or even perhaps 'moral' guidance (as important, truly, as these are). Rather, it must be Agape Love. But if this is the case then we need to take seriously a practice beyond rhetoric.
I think that the voice of religious leadership should be one that urges us ALL (PRO MULTIS] to a genuine conversion: one that acknowledges sin and demonstrates repentance; one that seeks forgiveness; and one that puts our hope in God with Whom ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
We are now in the great season of the Epiphany. Let us believe it! ("... and His disciples believed him ...")(Jn 2:11)
Agape Love, like Peace is not a an event. It is not a policy outcome. AGAPE LOVE AND PEACE CONSTITUTE A PROCESS OF CONVERSION. Let us put our trust in God and rejoice in God's Epiphany.

Religion & Hatred... It must
Religion & Hatred...
It must be that idolatry is embedded in religion in the same way that egoism is the constant temptation of humanity.
Otherwise, how could religion be the cause of so much hatred and arrogance?
What if we started paying more attention to how idolatry embeds itself into our faith beliefs?
What if we could recognize these idolatrous beliefs not as the gifts or commands of our religion's founder, but as contradictions to Jesus' spirit?
For example, The belief that Jesus died as a sacrifice for our sins, as a lamb, perfect sacrifice to the God who required...human sacrifice...deicide so we could feel forever guilty or project that guilt of killing God on Jews?????
Ridiculous??? There are many neo-nazi and Islamic websites and books about the God-killers.
We celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Many count the very basis of Christianity to be salvation by sacrifice and death.
