New Term
I have, from a relatively well recognized, somewhat respected source, learned a new term! I love to learn "New Terms!" I love to use them! (whether I understand them or not!), I really dig being "the first kid on the block!" In some places I'm known as,.... "That New Term old guy!"
In my circle of friend (singular for a reason), the learning and spouting of "New Terms" provides me an air of the contemplative, studied, educated, well read and "knowing" intellectual! This confession would suggest several things about me. The most pointed being, the kind of people I attract!.....It's a GIFT!
My new found jewel is, TRANSITIONAL HOMOSEXUALITY!
I gleaned that pearl from a guy (I think), named Little Bear. And He got it from a guy named A.W. Richard Sipes. And he dug it out of the wood work doing research on some stuff in the clergy! You don't know them? Look'em up! Look'em over! I did and I trust'em! As sources for "New Terms" and such anyway.
The only crack I find in this mirror so far, is the fact that I haven't yet mastered "Inherently Disordered," Which holds the place immediately preceeding "Transitionsl Homosexuality!" in my all time favorites of "New Terms." They seem, to me, to supose relevancy to each other, but how I don't know yet! I think they lack synchronicity. Or maybe I do!
This all gives rise to confusion by supposition! Supposing that a disorder is inherent,and homosexuality is a disorder, and transition is movement from state to state. Supposing that inherency implies intransigence, disorder implies homosexuality, and transition implies movement where does that lead us? I conclude, confusion by supposition, homosexuality by implication, tap dancing by the hierarchy!
"Transitional Pedophlia" is supposed as....Well, just because! I've no evidence of a stated inherency or a transitionsl state, however it is a supposed disorder! Supposed from the fact that the church established facilities to "cure" those exhibiting pedophilic proclivities.
AHHH! Behold An Ephiphany!
Pedophilia is a disorder! It is an inherent disorder! It becomes transitional in the movement of pedophiles from parish to parish and state to state!
I conclude. A plane constructed of disorders, transitional or inherent, just ain't gonna fly!
We sincerely need a new plane, AND CREW!

I too love that transitional homosexuality thing leading straight to the idea of transitional pedophilia which leads straight to the idea of 'moving' through the transitional period (mostly in moving vans) which could lead straight to being straight. Who says God writes with crooked lines. Seems pretty straight to me.

The concept of Transitional
The concept of Transitional Homosexuality, in the Vatican's opinion, can be viewed as one having a very bad habit, that has become an addiction. The Vatican sees homosexuality in this light. But if, after three years of refraining from same-sex activities, and if a candidate for ordination, is able to go "cold-turkey" he can be admitted to the priesthood. The concept of Transitional Homosexuality makes as much sense as a practice that existed at the beginning of the 20th Century (and earlier). It was the practice of dealing with Left-Handed individuals, turning them into right-handed individuals.
In the past, Lefties were viewed with suspiction and dismay. The concept was based roughly on Jesus' description of the Final Judgement. Jesus stated that the sheep would be placed on God's right and the goats would be placed on the left and sent to the everlasting fires. Because 'Southpaws' used their left hand---it was an indication of their tendency to go to the "left" and their salvation was in jeopardy. Therefore, something had to be done.
When young children, who were Lefties, came to school, many teachers took it as their duty to 'change' the kids. When the youngsters used their left hand, the parents or teachers would strike the child's hand with a ruler, or switch. After a number of times, the child's hand was so sore and and swollen---it could not be used. And thus, the child, suffering from pain (emotional as well as physical) used her/his right hand. The process of change was cruel and barbaric.
Today, we know that Lefties were conceived that way, it is in their 'genes'. We would never try to 'change' them into right-handed individuals. We even have products produced for their needs (scissors for lefties). But today the Church looks upon homosexuality with a similar bias that used to be held for Lefties. Only the condemnation for gays/lesbians is much more severe by the Church. The official Church's condemnation indicates its understanding of homosexual orientation is equally dated, cruel and barbaric. Transitional homosexuality, indeed!
