Fare ye well
As I mentioned on another thread, my time here has drawn to a close.
I ask all of you to pray for me as I begin postulancy in a Cistercian monastery tomorrow, the Feast of St Maximilian Kolbe.
I will keep you all in my prayers.
God Bless
Chris

Yours in Christ, Your brother Joe. :-)

Chris, you will be
Chris, you will be missed.

Once is NOT enough. Will
Once is NOT enough. Will think and pray for you often when I'm sitting around the ole cafe. I'm really going to miss you, HT (Chris). Take care of yourself.
P.S. As you can see, we left the light on for you...
Well, HT, I DID miss you
Well, HT, I DID miss you saying what you were about to do; in fact, was back on a different order for you altogether, and thought it was still a couplr of years away. but that probably goes back nearly a couple of years ago now. I think you are making a better match for yourself, at least from this distance.
I hope that you know by now that I do pray you all the best. Will guess we'll see you again, but please take care for now. The cafe has no one in your general perspective who will actually hang in, and my guess is, once you have a chance to relax in deep and long life with others, you will find your concerns shift in interesting and challenging ways that will make future conversations with us take a different shape. Finding this posting this morning was about the last thing I was expecting, so you've caught me by surprise. Again, my best to you. Godspeed!
I'll miss you Chris and will
I'll miss you Chris and will keep you in my prayers and intentions as I have since we first crossed words--so to speak. I think you've made the right choice with the Cistertians. You have an awful lot to offer them as do they you. God bless and may you find peace, love and joy.

I'll miss your input,
I'll miss your input, brother - but I pray that your input of gifts and graces to the Church will now be much magnified.
The Church today deeply, profoundly needs the unique witness of consecrated religious, as well as their prayers. The Church is called to holiness - and we hunger for authentic examples and models of holiness. So much of the Church, and so many, languish in a spiritual numbness, an insensitivity to God's radiant grace and transforming power! God give us witnesses!
