let them eat cake

Gas will be five dollars a gallon. Utilities are going up in price. Food prices are going up. Local government jobs and budgets are being slashed. Taxes for the rich are decreasing,maybe. The dollar is devalued. Does this not remind us of Marie Antoinette's famous statement?

Throw them all out. In an age of instant secure communication why do we send congressmen and senators to Washington? They can vote very well and more honestly from their home states. They would get into less trouble with whores and other lawyers. Lobbyists would have to travel instead. Seriusly though if half of all the people we elect were to stay with their constituents they would represent their constituents better and know how people feel. Between the media,lawyers,lobbyists, think tanks and whores it is a wonder things are not much worse than they are

She never said that, it was propaganda put out by the French Revolution proponents, to foster hatred toward the Catholic Monarchy of France. Although i am getting to the point where I wish we could throw everyone(republican and Democrat) out of office and start over with a bunch of people who are long on common sense and short on law degrees.
