Doesn't the U.S. Constitution give Congress the power to authorize War ?

In his column at Creators.com , Pat Buchanan asks if anyone is going to check the drumbeat for war against Iran. No discussion is being fomented and from speeches and actions it looks as if the Neo-Con influences are intent upon expanding our involvement in extreme actions in the Middle East without any advise and consent considerations. He reminds us of the conflict between Harry Truman and Gen. Douglas MacArthur in the Korean conflict with regards to expanding that war into China. Also, the Viet Nam situation that led Nixon into Cambodia while China and Russia were feeding the conflict.

We can't let these guys get away with co-opting our will in the name of ill defined goals of ' Security '.

Where is our faith placed, in God or Fire Superiority ?
